Rewild Yarmouth
This past Spring was the third annual Rewild Yarmouth initiative. This year, the Yarmouth Climate Action Board supported a planting event in collaboration with Yarmouth Tree Advisory Committee, Frank Knight Forest, YCS, the Yarmouth School Department, and others. Elementary school students were invited (with help from parent volunteers) to plant native wildflowers and forest plugs to reforest and rewild the area around the Elementary School where the bike path is.
Check out photos from recent and past Rewild events! As native plants naturalize in these spaces they will create habitat and food for pollinators.
